The business is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Team Leader to join their small but dynamic finance team. While they collaborate with an accountancy firm for monthly and year-end management accounts and taxation, they require a skilled individual to manage and oversee all other aspects of the finance department. This role involves leading and coordinating a close-knit team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes. Key Responsibilities: General accounts payable/receivable duties Entering supplier invoices into the ERP system Matching and checking suppliers? invoices Credit control activities Managing credit insurance Preparing and processing payroll Handling VAT returns and submissions Reconciling bank statements and financial transactions Producing financial reports and statements Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring Maintaining fixed asset registers Overseeing expense management and approvals Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards Managing the team Requirements A comprehensive understanding of accounts and bookkeeping experience Absolute trustworthiness and loyalty High standard of literacy and communication skills Proficiency in IT and systems A detail-oriented, accurate, and organized approach A cooperative and easy-to-work-with demeanour The ability to meet deadlines and targets Benefits Salary 40,000 to 45,000 per annum depending on experience Bonus Excellent working environment Lovely semi-rural location Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
