This is the job: We have our very own AA Autocentre based in Dartford, and we are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join us and continue making it a success. We are the AA; always evolving and adapting. You can be part of the Autocentre team by supporting both members and non-members with services, MOTs, maintenance, and repairs with support from our patrols towing vehicles to the centre. Not only do we keep everyone?s show on the road, but we?re also there for our customers wherever and whenever they need us. We?ll go the extra mile for you providing training to obtain your MOT Licence, if not already held. We will also provide training for the following; ADAS; Hybrid, and EV Level 2. You?ll be: A fixer/problem solver: Whilst focusing on customer care you will carry out all aspects of service, maintenance & repair including diagnostics. A good communicator: Happy to discuss repairs or any issues relating to the vehicle with customers if needed and able to create short presentation videos to accurately explain any key points of the vehicle?s health check. You?re the one always willing to go the extra mile What you need: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualification with the right experience is essential. Good general standard of education with a sound practical knowledge of the mechanical and electrical workings of motor vehicles and an ability to effect repairs.
