This includes a brand-new state-of-the-art Rainbow Unit, providing facilities for inpatients with a learning disability and/ or autism To be successful in applying for this role you will need: · Significant experience of working with people especially Children and Young People with eating disorders, including specific theoretical and practical knowledge of working with this client group. · Relevant experience of working in a mental health setting within a multi-disciplinary team. · Experience of the assessment of the suitability of prospective clients for a recognised psychological therapy. · Experience of working in a specialist eating disorder service with CAMHS experience. · To have undertaken a recognised qualification and to be appropriately regulated in one of the core mental health professions EG, social work, psychology and occupational therapy, or substantial previous experience as an NHS psychotherapist · Correct registration body In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of: · Relevant Qualifications · Registration with the relevant Registration Body Role responsibilities: · To provide specialist psychological assessments to Children and Young People referred to the Coventry & Warwickshire Eating Disorder Pathway within the CAMHS Service. · To provide psychological interventions and therapy who meet ED pathway treatment criteria. This includes providing group-based psychoeducation for Children and Young People and their family/carers, group based psychological therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy, and individual psychological therapies as appropriate. · To provide specialised psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals and carers, contributing directly to CYP formulations and intervention plans. · To support and contribute to the development of the Eating Disorders Services. · To support and advise other staff in their delivery of psychological care. · To utilise research skills for purposes of audit, policy, and service development. · To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of service policies and procedures.
