Job Title: Housing Officer Location: Coventry Salary: 11.50/ 12 per hour Hours: Part-Time About the Role: At Rneyz Housing, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our team and play an essential role in the management and delivery of housing services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about improving housing standards and providing excellent customer service to tenants. Key Responsibilities: ? Act as the first point of contact for tenants and provide support with tenancy matters, including maintenance requests, and general housing queries. ? Conduct regular monthly property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards. ? Manage Move In & Move Out in a professional way, helping tenants move in comfortably in their temporary home. ? Handle tenancy issues, including booking ins and terminations, while ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. ? Address and investigate complaints or incidents, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and resolving conflicts in a fair and professional manner - via email and phone. ? Handle all maintenance issues and inform our in-house maintenance team. ? Maintain accurate records of tenancy agreements, repairs, and other essential data. ? Ensure properties comply with health and safety regulations and take necessary actions to resolve any issues. ? Promote and maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authorities. Key Skills and Experience: ? Previous experience in a housing or property management role. ? Have good communication skills ? verbal, written and listening, knows how to write emails professionally ? Have a good understanding of how to use Outlook, Word, and Excel ? Strong understanding of housing legislation, tenancy agreements, and relevant regulations. ? Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally. ? Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. ? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. ? Knowledge of health and safety regulations and property maintenance standards. ? IT literate with the ability to use housing management software and standard office applications. Requirements: ? Driver License & has access to a vehicle
