Maintaining a current and thorough knowledge of the Distribution supply system. Ensuring the accuracy of SGN?s Network Analysis computer models. Supporting development of the supply system in a safe and efficient manner. Determining the optimum method of network operation consistent with minimising costs and maintaining statutory obligations. Developing reinforcement designs in support of new connections, taking account of factors such as cost, deliverability and interaction with other activities / business drivers. Developing a detailed understanding of Leakage and Environmental Emissions Incentive What you will need Due to the nature of the work carried out by Network Planning, the successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of activities from across the SGN business. As such, this is a key opportunity to be exposed to and develop an understanding of those activities. With a positive and flexible approach to work you will be highly motivated with good organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills. In addition, you need to be an effective communicator at all levels and be able to act on your own initiative. Candidate would also be expected to demonstrate high level of computer literacy and associated skills.
