Main purpose of job: * Ensure all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment and/or transfer from site are carried out in accordance with company procedures (SAP) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured. * Maximise throughput by loading the plant at an appropriate rate and mix/blend - where unsure seek guidance from Supervisor/Team Leader. * Assist drivers with unloading /loading of vehicles when instructed to do so to ensure quick turnaround of company vehicles. * Working as part of the site team you will be expected to carry out duties to assist other parts of the operation * Load /unload trailers and/or containers as instructed to do so. * Operate the plant in line with site permits and consents, including monitoring emissions (where applicable) to avoid breaches. * Monitor the emission monitoring equipment (where applicable) and take the necessary action to avoid exceedance / breaches. Report any breaches to the plant/site manager. * Carry out all required operational checks and/or maintenance on site and equipment in accordance with PPM schedule. * Working with Supervisor/Team leader use initiative to solve problems as they occur. * Ensure all bins (770ltr) are washed and maintained after each use. * Ensure that site housekeeping is of the highest standards at all times, clean up litter as and where required.
