Power Systems Engineer Here?s what you?ll be doing Salary: 51,620- 65,907 Permanent Flexible base location (Coventry, Nottingham, Kingswinford) with hybrid working. At E. ON we are looking for a skilled and organised Power Systems Engineer to join our growing Lighting and Grid business. As part of our expansion within the ICP (Independent Connection Provider) sector and increasing project pipeline, you will work on a diverse range of projects, from Low Voltage to 132 kV voltage levels. This role will focus on dynamic analysis and ensuring compliance with UK Grid Code requirements, requiring expertise in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and knowledge of CDEGS or XGSLAB software. Key Responsibilities Delivering dynamic analysis and UK Grid Code compliance for projects. Technical and project management leadership to support the project team ensuring the technical quality of power systems projects, reports, and proposals. Build and maintain key client relationships to position EON ICP effectively and secure future business. Conduct P28 studies to assess voltage fluctuations and flicker severity. Carry out detailed earthing studies for various projects. Provide grid connection support to developers. What we need from you Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 2 years? experience in UK Grid Code Compliance Studies. Proficient in power system software packages such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, IPSA, CDEGs, or XGSLAB. Proactive and motivated to meet customer needs with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-facing approach. A collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
