Due to an internal promotion of our current Practice Manager, we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented leader to manage and support our PA and Admin teams. This role offers a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to shape our continued operational success. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the PA and Administration Teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional performance. Daily Support & Escalation: Act as the go-to person for your teams, offering guidance on escalated queries such as prescriptions, appointment bookings, and GP Shared Care Agreements. Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs, conduct performance reviews, and lead monthly 121 meetings with your team members Operational Oversight: Chair weekly team meetings, ensure adherence to HR policies, manage leave and sickness cover, and oversee onsite/offsite rotas. Efficiency Improvements: Monitor productivity and workflows, implementing innovative solutions to improve team efficiency. Clinical Governance: Support governance initiatives, including managing informal complaints, incident tracking, patient feedback analysis, and quality improvement projects. HR Management: Lead hiring processes, onboarding, health and safety, probation reviews, appraisals, and ongoing training to build a skilled and engaged team. Strategic Contributions: Present ideas and solutions at monthly Operations Team Meetings, driving actionable outcomes and process enhancements. Office & IT Coordination: Oversee office supplies, IT needs, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. Deputise for Operations Director: Step into the senior leadership role during the Operations Director?s absence, ensuring continuity in management and decision-making. Ideal Candidate 8 years of direct line management experience in a private healthcare clinic Available immediately or with 1 months? notice Strong understanding of CQC compliance and clinical governance functions Extensive HR management experience Innovative mindset focused on continuous quality improvement Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards Highly organised , self-motivated , and detail-oriented Strong IT skills for managing remote workflows via email and phone Experience in private healthcare or psychaitry is a bonus, but not essential
