About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Economic Crime Risk Consultant ? Systems & Analytics to join the Society?s Financial Crime team. Acting as a lead subject matter expert, engaging positively with key stakeholders and keeping pace with changing internal and external expectations, the Senior Economic Crime Risk Consultant will keep up to date with economic crime intelligence in order to take appropriate action to help with the wider fight against economic crime. The person in post will have an in depth understanding of identifying attack vectors in an enterprise-wide context that are posing an economic crime risk to our business and lead the optimisation of our economic crime model to suit. Taking ownership for our economic crime systems, reviewing the current prevention approaches and identifying areas of optimisation for both business and customer benefit, the role holder will lead the transformation our data and intelligence into meaningful insights and provide recommendations to the business in making vital customer journey decisions. About you As an experienced technical expert in economic crime with practical application of working in a risk function managing alerting systems, you?ll have extensive practical knowledge of financial crime techniques and processes to mitigate risks. You?ll ideally have experience of working in financial services sector with a focus on economic crime systems and analytics. With advanced Excel and SQL skills you?ll be able to evidence your experience in analysing big data for meaningful results. You?ll be confident and able to persuade and motivate others through collaboration and at times, challenge the status?quo.
