Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Administrator to join our Finance team at Cambridge Education Group ! The role is on a full-time, permanent basis with the location set in Cambridge, United Kingdom. We operate under a Hybrid Working schedule - with the possibility to work 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. This role is ideal for somebody that is looking to progress their career in the Finance Industry. As a Senior Finance Administrator , you will be working closely with the wider Finance Team to help manage and process a high volume of financial transactions. The Senior Finance Administrator responsibilities primarily include the reconciliation of banking accounts, Sponsored Debt reporting and team training. As part of this role, the successful candidate will have line management responsibilities, with one Finance Administrator reporting into them. Key responsibilities: Ensure the smooth running of the Finance Administration function, managing one direct report. Monitor team performance against agreed KPI?s. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and lead by example. Responsible for student refunds and reporting to the group, following procedures and meeting time scales. Responsible for the group daily banking and reconciliation of the business unit bank accounts. To work with the Sponsor Unit to ensure invoices are produced/issued as per agreed time scales. Ensure effective procedures are in place for Sponsored cash collection,and proactively review and improve existing processes. To liaise directly with fee payers & sponsors regarding student account queries. To build effective working relationships with Centre Staff, Sales and Admissions Teams, and the Central Finance Team in order to quickly and courteously resolve queries. Identify and post unallocated cash receipts in line with existing KPI?s. Key aspects we will be looking for: Experience of Bank Reconciliations. Previous experience of leading a team. Experience in Finance Administration or other Finance functions (desirable) Strong focus on customer service, both internal and external. Excellent communication skills by phone and email. Experience of Bank Reconciliations. Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications. Problem-solving abilities. Accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrates a capability to balance competing demands. Remains balanced, rational and courteous in dealing with others at all times.
