As a UX Designer , you will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the UX team, undertaking key project specific research and detailed deliverables to understand the user base, behaviours and traffic patterns through our digital journeys. This will involve conducting competitive analysis, secondary research, creating personas and alongside common research and analytical assessment techniques to ensure that website and digital journeys are well-structured, information, easy to use and ultimately meet the needs of its users. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Conduct common UX research deliverables such as competitive analysis, secondary research, heuristic evaluations and surveys / user observations Evaluate research results into actionable insights, and be able to communicate findings through reports & presentations Accountable for driving improvements in Digital User Experience (DEX score) and commercial KPIs Accountable for ensuring that the website and digital journeys are well-structured, information is easy to find and meets the needs of its users driving the right outcomes and conversion Responsible for understanding how users interact with the website into usable user personas and customer journey maps Responsible for creating wireframes, information architecture and user flows for micro digital journeys Build great relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and help to translate offline services into slick, easy to use digital user experience. What we need from you: Experience of working in a user centred design led product development process working with development and design teams to drive the implementation of digital experiences Confidence in managing digital optimisations from concept to completion Understanding in the difference between validated fact and UX theory, when to utilise each and the importance of context to the user environment Be able to suggest deliverables from a framework to implement on a project-by-project basis, and lead on projects with timelines and stakeholder management Confident to work solo or within a team under direction of UXM Solid understanding of both design principles and UX theory, and experience with creating and working with wireframes, brand guardians and web developers.
