Braun Melsungen AG Job description: We are looking for an experienced leader to join our Distribution Centre where you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities within a busy warehouse environment. Working within the Goods Receipt area, you will be responsible for managing all processes, leading a team of distribution operatives. Your role will involve coaching and developing the team to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement. If you?re an experienced leader with a background in distribution and a passion for team development, we?d love to hear from you! Key Details: Working hours : 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 10am to 6pm. The team you will be managing works between 6am and 10pm, requiring flexibility outside of standard hours when needed. People management responsibility : 11 direct reports (including Distribution Operatives and two senior Distribution Operatives). Your main responsibilities: ? Full Ownership & Accountability of all Goods Receipt Processes including 3rd party storage providers and deliveries direct to customers. ? Control of all documentation in relation to Goods Receipt, scanning & archiving. ? Play an active role in projects as required to deliver increases in efficiency, productivity and contribute to cost reduction programs. ? Ensure departmental compliance with all regulatory requirements particularly those relating to GDP. ? Performance and absence management of team. ? Produce on time management reporting. What you need to succeed: ? Proven experience of managing teams within a warehouse environment. ? Knowledge of warehousing procedures. ? Can maintain a consistent high level of accuracy, concentration and attention to detail whilst working under pressure. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. ? Strong supervisory abilities, focused on guiding the team and ensuring targets are met.
